LO206 NON KA Sealed Gokart Engines Australia

Aussiespeed has been a Briggs & Stratton Racing Engine supplier in Australia and supporting and supplying 4 stroke clubs and associations for a long time. We can supply go kart racers with factory sealed LO206 Briggs & Stratton racing engines with the engine tagged to run throughout Australia to run in NON KA EVENTS. We can supply racers in Australia LO206 sealed go kart engines, engine spare parts, Inferno Flame go kart clutches and sprockets with various teeth counts. We can also supply RLV 206 class approved exhaust systems, mufflers and mounting kits as well as drilled header bolts, copper and composite exhaust gaskets. We do not pay license fees, we do not offer financial kick backs, we dont have a reseller program that pushes up the price of engines and spare parts that ultimately pushes up prices to the racer/end consumer. We do not control your go kart racing series but work with club and association committees who represent their members to supply what the racer wants or what the committee decides is best for their members.

AS many racers had been running the KX21 Subaru and are moving to the Briggs 206 engine many already have an engine mount. The Subaru and Briggs Lo206 use the same mounting so you can use your existing engine mount. The sealed engine its self which includes factory sealed long block, carburetor, fuel pump, recoil starter is fully assembled starts at $875.00. The engines are fitted with 4SKANSW tags and will be on the register. We need proof of your membership to supply any of these packages

When it comes to the pulse line to operate the vacuum operated fuel pump on your LO206 there are 2 main options that are used in Australia. The first option 1 and less favored by our team personally is the removal of the top oil filler plug and it is replaced by a screw in fitting. The second and Preferred method requires extra work but we have found is the best option. option 2 The cylinder head is drilled and a thread is tapped on the top of the intake port and a fitting is screwed into the port. Over time we have seen option 1 due to windage from the crank spinning in oil inside the crankcase oil can travel up the pulse line into the vacuum port of the fuel pump this can also happen when you install a fitting into the rocker cover . Option 2 As the piston travels down the bore a vacuum is created and the diaphragm in the pump moves and pushes the fuel through. For the cost of fitting the pulse line to the cylinder head if you dont have the tools to do it your self is not much more than the cost of a genuine Briggs & Stratton fuel pump, plus the chances of the pump failing after waiting for the weekend to go racing and it stops working part way through a race we think is a no brainer .

To supply the fitting, drill and tap the cylinder head and fit the pulse fitting there is a charge of $66.00. The AS0346 screw in pulse fitting is $10.00.
